Hannah's Indoor Soccer

Hannah just got done with her 2nd session of Indoor Soccer. She had a blast. She loves playing Defense, back by the goal. Her coach nicknamed her "the wall" because she doesn't let anything past. She had a couple of goals too. These aren't the greatest pictures but I wanted to share our latest...

Jenkins Christmas 2011

Christmas morning came early this year. We had to get everything done and be ready for church by 9:00. I started getting ready at 6:30 and we woke the kids up just before 7:00. We had a great morning and we were even early to church.

Avery was still a little baby last Christmas, it was fun to see her enjoy the holiday a little more. She still seems like my baby until I see her in pictures and I realize she's not such a baby anymore.

The kids were all happy and excited with their stuff. Whew, what a relief.

A little to early for Avery, she took a break for her bottle.

After church I wanted a picture of the kids in their new coordinating church clothes. Avery wanted nothing to do with it, the little sleep had taken its toll.

This was the best we got in front of the tree.

What a great Christmas! Loved having it on Sunday, what a way to help us remember our Savior. Merry Christmas!!!

Island Park and Yellowstone

We took an October trip to the cabin in Island Park and headed into Yellowstone.

This is at Big Springs, they have huge fish to feed.

I love when the buffalo are so close that they are on the road. Look closely through the girls windows.

Mammoth: the elk just hang out around the town. You can see more on the lawn next to the building on the left.

We tried to get Avery in there for the perfect family picture but she was to scared and was screaming in that picture.

This huge arch was the original main entrance into the Park

I had been waiting to see a bear and finally in the evening of our second day in the park it happened and I was excited to say the least.

The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone

Stopped for lunch at our favorite picnic spot at Yellowstone lake. It's off the road on one of the pull outs, out of the way so few cars and it is so pretty right next to the lake.

On our way out of the park the last day we saw this Bald Eagle.

What a great trip! The kids did awesome being in the car so much. We saw a ton of animals. The October trip never disappoints!!!

We, well Erik, fed the cows for my dad while they were in Vegas at the rodeo. They always have fun going on the hill.

Happy Thanksgiving

The kids dressed up for their first thanksgiving at the elementary. A tradition from when Erik went to school.

Avery is 1

October 24th 2011 Avery had her 1st birthday. She had a little family party to celebrate. She is such a good, happy, little girl. It takes effort not to call her my baby, she stills feels like it. During her party she would just look around as if she couldn't figure out why everyone was looking at her. She loves playing with her brother and sisters, being tickled by dad, smiling so big when mom gets her out of bed in the morning, and refusing to give any of us kisses. She likes to carry things around on her arm like a purse, give her baby loves, and push anything around that has wheel and a handle. She is an absolute joy to have in our home and we feel blessed to be her parents!

She didn't want to stop playing with the toy she just opened to move onto the next present.
