Moab Memory Monday

I figured I would change it up a bit and instead of January snow pictures I would show our Jones Family Moab trip from May 2007. This is one of the hikes we went on, to Corona Arch.
Pool time, the kids love it!

Another hike, Hannah with my dad.

Our little fam, I think Cameron is asleep in the backpack.

Hannah thought it was pretty cool to cross the river. My bro Tyler and his daughter Macey.

My bro Stuart and Hannah climbed up into a cave.

My sis-in-law and Macey.

Erik and I rock climbing on Wall Street.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures of our home away from home. Good memories but it just makes me want to go back to the warm, sunny, fun, worry free, place. Hopefully we will get to take the Jeep soon!! Moab just isn't quite the same without some four wheeling!

Memory Monday

Happy 8th Anniversary to us last Saturday, January 17th. I found our wedding picture disk today and figure I'd show a few pictures from our wonderful day. They will be new to some of you and memories for others. Enjoy!
Erik and I after our ceremony at the Salt Lake Temple. It was a beautiful day but it was so cold you could see our breath. I was freezing, and wore the photographers coat in between each picture.

Our friends Todd and Sidney Cottle and Joe and Stephanie Hurd (We met at a Young Adult FHE through Joe and Stephanie. Todd and Sid met through Erik and I.)

Cutting the cake at our reception at the WSU Alumni Center.

The dreaded line. I remember how bad my face hurt by the end of the night from smiling so much and the awkward silence when people we hardly knew were just standing there after saying Congrats waiting to talk to our parents.

I know Erik does read our blog even though he probably wouldn't admit it. So, Love You Erik and thanks for a great 8 years, I can't wait to see what the next 8 brings us.

Kate's 1st Haircut

Kate had her first hair cut the other day, she needed one badly. The hair on the top of her head was so long, from birth. It had just taken this long for the rest of it to catch up so we could even it out. Grandma Jenkins cut it for her. Grandma was fast and Kate didn't mind at all.

See how long it was...

She was looking at brother and sister smiling and laughing, they thought it was so exciting she was getting her hair cut.

I can't believe she is getting so big, it's almost been a year. I just love her squishy cheeks. Here hair is even more curly now with some of the weight gone, I will have to take a picture.

Once there was a Snowman...

Last week the kids played in the snow. They had a blast. Pete had to join in on the fun.
Glad Hannah is such a picture poser, I would tell Cam to say cheese, he would just say cheese and not stop what he was doing or even look at me to smile.

They decided they wanted to make a snowman so I got my snow clothes on to help them. It was so fun to see them get so excited about it.

After one wardrobe change, pink to red hat, the snowman was complete!!

It's a new year!

My new year's resolution this year is to do more fun things with my kids instead of always worrying about cleaning the house and stuff. Hannah asked about some paper sack puppets. So we crafted them right up. The kids loved it. The sad thing is I am not an artist at all. Hannah drew her face and I did the clothes and she colored them.

Hannah proud of her blue haired puppet!

I had to post something, anything...

I haven't really had anything to blog about. So here are some cute pictures of my kids just hanging out.
What a surprise, Cameron in a cowboy hat. He loves them. We were in IFA the other day, he was in heaven with all the saddles, hats and ropes it was too cute. I joked with my dad, asking what it worse than a kid in a candy store? Cameron in IFA, he was out of control. I was exhausted after chasing him around.
Hannah and Kate. Hannah is such a great big sister she started the whole picture taking thing this day. She kept saying mom please take a picture of me and Kate and then would pose them both. And yes she is in a tank top undershirt. She is so hot all the time and striping down, just like her dad, well the first part anyway, hot all the time.

The kids and their funny faces, gotta have one of those.
Sorry this was a lot typing about nothing, but I said I had to post something, anything. Hope the New Year is going well for everyone and you are enjoying the snow...

Our Christmas!!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year's! Ours was great, we spent a lot of time with family and enjoyed every minute of it. The kids were very excited that Santa came. Here are a few pictures.

Just looking down at the mayhem from the kitchen, the kids got to play all morning with their new toys.
